The Chip Room has been working with the Casino and the Gaming Commission of the Grand Bahamas, for over a year, to negotiate the release of these chips.
Here s the story. The Bahamia Casino was opened in May of 2000. The casino name was changed to The Royal Oasis in the summer of 2004. Before the casino was able to order new chips, The Royal Oasis was struck by Hurricane Frances in September of 2004. The casino was destroyed, but chips remained safe in the vault. In the summer of 2008 Harcourt Development was chosen to re-develop the Royal Oasis. The Chip Room has been in negotiation ever since to bring these chips to market.

This auction is for 100 Genuine Casino Chips from Bahamia Casino, Grand Bahamas Island. These are real Paulson 39mm (Reverse Top Hat and Cane mold) clay chips, with Giant Inlays that have gentle use. All of the chips will stand on edge.
These are absolute top quality chips and would be a great addition to any game. Paulson does not sell their Casino grade RHC chips to the public any more, so this quality of chips is not available anywhere. Each gold bar has been genuinely smelted and specially formulated to look and feel like a genuine gold bar!
Each gold bar weighs approximately one whole pound. This means, in today s gold market, if these 3 bars were actually gold, their worth would be approximately $48,000!!
These gold bars are a lot of fun.
People are finding them very attractive and extremely real looking.
They are great for pranksters, novelty gifts and they make for a very nice display practically anywhere.
